When did you start generating content as a career?
Sanyam Sharma: In March 2020, I first started producing content. Sadly, the first video I made, which was about the Zomato guy, didn’t turn out as I imagined. I then began producing content in lockdown for three months, but I failed to reach the target engagement levels. Later, I created a haphazard video with the title “Crush Kaise pataye? ” and it gained a lot of followers nd ended up going viral! This gave my career something of a speed boost. That’s how I got my career boost.
What was your breakthrough moment when you realized you had a content creation aspect to your life?
Sanyam Sharma: When my reels went viral in June 2022, I had no idea what was happening and I had no idea if it would bring in money or not. I was unaware about what brand deals were, let alone anything else pertaining to content development. Unexpectedly, Hypp Agency called me one day and said they wanted to manage my account when I was still unaware of these things. Later, brand agreements began, and I gained popularity among both artists and viewers. I was clueless about what was happening as time went on I got the hold of everything.
